What services does Bella Pet Care Co provide?

Bella Pet Care Co offers professional home visit pet care services tailored to each animal’s individual needs. Services may include feeding, freshwater checks, companionship, welfare checks, enrichment activities, dog walking, and general care within your pet’s home environment.

Care for selected farm and rural animals, including horses and small livestock, is also available by arrangement.

Do you offer dog walking?

Yes. Individual dog walking services are available and tailored to your dog’s age, fitness level, and temperament.

For safety reasons, outdoor walks are not conducted when temperatures exceed 26°C or when weather conditions are considered unsafe. During hot weather, indoor enrichment and companionship can be provided instead.

Do you care for horses or farm animals?

Yes. Bella Pet Care Co provides farm animal and rural property care by arrangement.

Services may include:

Do you offer a meet and greet before services begin?

Yes. All new clients begin with a meet and greet visit. This allows us to get to know you and your pet, understand routines and care requirements, and ensure everyone feels comfortable before services commence.

What areas do you service?

Bella Pet Care Co proudly services Encounter Bay, Victor Harbor and surrounding Fleurieu Peninsula areas. Please contact us to confirm availability for your location, as service availability may vary depending on distance and scheduling.

What happens during extremely hot weather?

Your pet’s safety is our priority. Outdoor walks are not conducted when temperatures exceed 26°C or when conditions are unsafe. During hot weather, visits instead include indoor enrichment, companionship, and welfare checks within a safe and cool environment.

What happens if my pet becomes sick or injured during a visit?

If a pet appears unwell or injured and the owner or emergency contact cannot be reached, Bella Pet Care Co may seek veterinary care on the pet’s behalf. Every reasonable attempt will be made to contact you first. Any veterinary or associated costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

Will I receive updates about my pet?

Yes. Updates may include messages or photos so you can feel reassured that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you are away.

How do I book a service?

Simply contact us through the website contact form, phone, or email to arrange a meet and greet. Services are confirmed personally to ensure the best care plan for your pet.

How do payments work?

Payments are arranged directly with Bella Pet Care Co and are typically completed in person unless otherwise agreed.

What information do you need before the first visit?

Clients are asked to complete a Client and Pet Information Form prior to the first service. This includes contact details, veterinary information, feeding routines, behavioral notes, and emergency contacts to ensure safe and personalized care.

Can you administer medication?

Basic medication may be administered depending on the pet’s needs and temperament. Please discuss all medical requirements during the meet and greet so suitability can be assessed.

What if my pet has behavioral concerns?

We ask that any behavioral concerns, anxieties, or special handling requirements are disclosed prior to services. This helps ensure safe and appropriate care for your pet and handler.

How far in advance should I book?

Advance notice is recommended, particularly during holiday periods, to ensure availability. However, we will always try to accommodate requests where possible.

Do you take photos of pets?

How do cancellations work?
