Bella Pet Care Co – Service Policies & Terms
At Bella Pet Care Co, the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of every animal is our highest priority. The following policies are in place to ensure professional, safe, and reliable care for all pets entrusted to us.
By booking a service, clients acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
Home Visit Services Only
Bella Pet Care Co provides home visit pet care services only.
We do not offer:
pet boarding at our home, or
overnight or live-in pet sitting within a client’s residence.
All services are conducted as scheduled visits to pets within their own home environment.
Veterinary Care & Emergencies
If a pet becomes ill, injured, or appears to require urgent medical attention during a visit and the owner or nominated emergency contact cannot be reached, Bella Pet Care Co reserves the right to seek veterinary treatment on the pet’s behalf.
Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the owner first.
All veterinary fees, transport costs, and associated expenses will be the responsibility of the pet owner.
Hot Weather Safety Policy
For the safety and welfare of all dogs:
Outdoor walks will not be conducted when temperatures exceed 26°C, or when weather conditions are considered unsafe.
During hot weather, visits will instead include indoor enrichment, play, companionship, welfare checks, and care within a safe and cool environment.
Pet wellbeing will always take priority over scheduled walking activities.
Animal Welfare First
Bella Pet Care Co reserves the right to modify, shorten, or refuse a service if conditions are considered unsafe for the pet, handler, or public.
This may include extreme weather, unsafe environments, illness concerns, or behavioral risks.
Behavior & Safety Disclosure
Clients must disclose any known behavioral concerns, including aggression, anxiety, reactivity, escape tendencies, or medical conditions.
Bella Pet Care Co reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if a pet displays behavior that poses a safety risk.
The safety of pets, handlers, and the public is always prioritized.
Property Access & Security
Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and secure access to the property during scheduled visits.
This includes:
providing correct keys, codes, or access instructions,
ensuring pets are safely contained upon arrival, and
maintaining secure fencing and safe environments.
Bella Pet Care Co is not responsible for pets that escape due to faulty gates, fencing, or unsecured premises.
Owner Responsibilities
Clients must provide:
current contact details,
an emergency contact person,
veterinary clinic details, and
relevant medical or care information for their pet.
It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure all information remains current.
Photos & social media
Bella Pet Care Co may take photographs of pets during visits for service updates, training records, or promotional purposes, including website and social media content.
Clients may opt out of photography use at any time by providing written notice.
Cancellations & Changes
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations or schedule changes.
Late cancellations or missed visits may incur a service fee.
Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable care and precaution is taken, Bella Pet Care Co cannot be held liable for illness, injury, escape, or incidents that occur due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
All services are provided with the pet’s welfare and safety as the primary focus.
